Free creative workshops in Woking – Hidden Stories

Hello, we're Root Experience, and we'rereally excited to be able to offer the people of Woking a series of fourcreative workshops for those living with a hidden disability or condition.

Thanks to winning the ITV’s People'sProjects Award (see video here) we can develop our work and open up ourhugely successful programme to Woking and other communities in the region.

The workshops will explore the individualexperiences of being ‘hidden’ by using Art, Sound, Drama and creativediscussions. These personal experiences will then form part of an illustrated book designed to openup conversation, offer support and to enable people to learn about differentinvisible conditions.

We have 20 places and they are open toanyone who identifies as having an invisible disability or condition and isover 18 years old. These can be anything from anxiety to autism, ME to OCD,mental health issues to chronic pain.
