BASIC MONEY SKILLS - WAVS members only

BASIC MONEY SKILLSWAVS is holding a workshop on the 5th October run by Barclays Bank entitled “Basic Money Skills” .

This course covers the absolute basics of understanding money and is open to organisations, their volunteers

or clients who may benefit from this workshop.




As an organisation or volunteer it is designed to show the way to impart the knowledge to your clients.

Things many take for granted.




For your clients it will assist in educating them in the ways of banking and money issues they may encounter.

Below is an overview of what will be covered.

This workshop will offer the delegates the opportunity to

o Support clients thinking about money and finances

o Help clients to understand financial words and products

o Look at ways to plan and manage money

o Identify clients “money personality” – whether they spend on impulse or plan well head for purchases.




The venue is Woking United Reformed Church, White Rose Lane, Woking GU22 7HA and the workshop will run from 10am to 1pm.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied during a mid morning break.
